1. ABOUT FLASK
Flask is provided by Flask Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales (company registration details available upon request), with a registered address at:
124 City RoadLondon, EC1V 2NX
United Kingdom
Flask is a video collaboration platform designed for creative teams to record, share, organize, and collaborate on video feedback.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age to use Flask. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are using Flask on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
You may register using third-party authentication services (such as Google). When you do so, you authorize Flask to access certain information from that service as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. SUBSCRIPTION AND TRIAL
Free Tier and Subscription
You can start using Flask for free. The free tier lets you keep up to three (3) active assets at a time, with no time limit and no payment method required; you can delete assets to make room for new ones.
To unlock unlimited assets and full functionality, you can subscribe to a paid plan. Any promotional or partner offers, where available, are subject to the specific terms presented to you at the time of the offer.
Subscription
Flask is a paid subscription service that includes:
- Direct video uploads to Flask
- YouTube video embedding
- Shared team workspaces
- All collaboration and feedback features
Flask offers multiple subscription plans with different feature sets and team size limits. Current plans, pricing, and included features are described on our pricing page at flask.do. Subscriptions are billed annually. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing to Flask, you authorize Flask to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Organization and Authorized Users
Each Flask subscription is licensed to a single legal entity ("Organization"). "Organization" means the company, partnership, sole proprietorship, or other entity that agreed to these Terms, together with any entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with that entity.
"Authorized Users" means employees, contractors, and agents of the Organization who are authorized to use the Service. Authorized Users does not include the Organization's customers, clients, or any other third party.
You may not resell, sublicense, lease, time-share, or otherwise make the Service or your account available to any third party. The Service is licensed solely for use by your Organization and its Authorized Users for your Organization's internal business purposes.
5. YOUR CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload, create, or share through Flask, including videos, recordings, comments, annotations, and other materials (collectively, "Your Content").
License to Flask
To operate the Service, you grant Flask a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your collaborators.
Flask will not use Your Content for marketing purposes, advertising, or any purpose beyond providing the Service to you. Your uploaded videos are not used to train AI models or shared with third parties except as explicitly described in these Terms.
Original File Retention
When you upload a file, we retain the original master file and make it available for you to download for 30 days. After 30 days, the original master file is deleted. This does not delete the asset itself — the processed, streamable version remains available; only the original uploaded file is removed.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of sharing it. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to Your Content
- Your Content does not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Your Content complies with these Terms and applicable laws

Fair Use Policy
Flask is a video collaboration and annotation platform. The Service is designed for normal business use of its intended features: uploading, organizing, annotating, and collaborating on video content within your team.
Certain plans may include access to features described as "unlimited." This refers to the absence of artificial feature caps for normal business use of the platform. You agree not to use the Service:
- As a general-purpose file storage, backup, or content delivery service
- Via automated or programmatic means that generate upload volumes or API requests substantially exceeding normal human-driven usage
- To store or distribute content unrelated to video collaboration
- In any manner that consumes a disproportionate amount of infrastructure resources relative to other customers on the same plan
Usage Review and Enforcement
We monitor aggregate usage patterns to ensure service quality and detect abuse. If we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that your usage is abnormal, excessive, or inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Service, we may:
- Contact you to discuss your usage and explore solutions
- Impose temporary rate limits or usage restrictions on your account
- Require you to move to a plan that better accommodates your usage
- Suspend your access to the Service upon reasonable notice
We will make commercially reasonable efforts to contact you before taking restrictive action, except in cases of fraud, security risk, or legal obligation, where suspension may be immediate.
Flask reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
10. TERMINATION AND ACCOUNT DELETION

You may delete your Flask account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@flask.do.

Data Retention After Termination
Upon account deletion or termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. During this period, you may contact us to request account restoration. After 30 days, Your Content and account data will be permanently deleted from Flask's systems, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing these Terms).

12. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to maintenance, updates, or improvements.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flask, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if Flask has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall Flask's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the amount you paid to Flask in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Third-Party Services
Flask is not responsible for the performance, availability, or content of third-party services (including YouTube, Mux, Stripe, and others). Any issues with third-party services should be directed to those providers.
